Whoop Whoop!!!!!!!!!!!


So here we go guys, my latest update..............................

FOUR AND A HALF POUNDS that's 4.5lbs yes FOUR AND A HALF POUNDS!!!!

Heck I am proud of myself I really am, I knew I was doing good but didn't think for one minute I would lose that much in one week.

So I wonder how much I will lose this week, doing yet another long week and two 13 hour days back to back, I must be a mug.

Bit stressed out at the moment though but I AM NOT GOING TO EAT!!!! Manny can't drive at the moment because his licence has run out and he can't get a lift to work, people aren't very caring nowadays are they? He's hoping to go to the States next weekend but we have found out that now he's a British Citizen we don't think he can have an American licence anymore, he's going to look into it, but he needs to see his Family as well. I'm afraid we are just going to have to get him through his British driving test, it's the theory that stumps him, heck it stumps me and I've been driving for 20 years, lol.

Update.............


Well hello there guys and gals. Okay then, so my last blog was all about my new trainers. I have to say I love them but I have had a few probs with them to start with. As I said I have never warn a pair of trainers in my life and these Nike ones proper running trainers. I went for my walk as per usual and wore them and about two thirds of the way around they started to rub my ankles, OMG I limped home like a wounded soldier, lol, so unfortunately I couldn't go for a walk for a couple of days because my old Skechers that I wore before were even catching me.

The gym well there's another story, lol. I'm not brave enough to go on my own yet when it's busy and with work I haven't had a chance to go, I did manage the other day and got there and had forgot my locker lock and had my purse and everything with me and wasn't going to risk just leaving it all in there, it stressed me out a bit so I just came home, so I'm afraid to say I haven't been to the gym in the last week, naughty naughty I know,lol. Anyway I donned my thick sox and plasters on my heals and went out for my walk again Friday night and with the extra cushioning on my heals and chatting to my pal Bee on the phone for the full half a hour, lol, I felt no pain and a lot of gain!!!
I keep cooking different things to eat, I am doing a lot of stir fries with low cal spray oil and lots of veg and chicken and also make a spaghetti bolognese from scratch with quorn, I am trying to avoid to much red meat as it's full of saturated fat.



I'm being really good as well, I'm emptying the store cupboard at home, when I go to the States I always buy a packet corn muffing mix because you can't get it over here and I love it, well I baked the last 2 packets on Friday and took it into work for the customers, they thoroughly enjoyed it. Mum and Lauren baked chocolate butterfly cakes as well on Saturday and I took the excess to work as well, the greedy buggers ate the lot, lol.

Well it's a tough week at work this week, I'm doing 50 hours, we have 2 people off on holiday so there's only Karl, Me and Paul to hold the fort, it is going to be a good week though, we all 3 get on really well and have a laugh, luckily they don't eat like pigs either so I don't get led astray by either of them.

Lord only know if I'm going to get to go to the gym either this week, it's a bit annoying that I can't seem to get there, but when I'm a bit braver and fitter I won't mind going on my Jack at all. I will definitely get a couple of walks in though I promise.
I've been laid up today, think I've had a bit of a chill in my kidneys, think it's my own fault, when I go for a walk I wear my big winter coat but only a tee shirt underneath and think a draft has caught me. I felt dodgy at work yesterday and blamed it on the naff chairs but when I woke up this morning in agony I guessed it was a chill, so I filled the hot water bottle to boiling point and I think I've burnt the chill away, still a bit sore but a lot better than I was this morning, Karl will be relieved!!!

Sophie my Dear little Sister is back in hospital tomorrow, she's having a really rough time at the moments, she's going in for yet another lumber puncture and to top it all the Doctor has been overdosing her on her medication, no wonder the pins and needles have been worse than normal. Good luck Bab I love you!!!

It's weigh in Thursday morning, I do hope I've lost some, I feel I have and should have considering how good I've been? Wish me luck..........

Tonight was the night.................

So tonight I joined Weightwatchers, it helped knowing Michelle the leader, we went to school together and I have to say she looks as young and as gorgeous as me just a lot slimmer, lol

I have to say I have had a bit of a bad day today, had a problem at work last night, to anyone who knows me and work you all know what I'm on about! So I had a rough night and got a bit stressed out again and just couldn't face work felt sick at the thought of it. I did promise Mum I would go to the gym with her today but never made it, my neck was all tensed up and my back sore and just couldn't do it. Tomorrow is another day though and back to work and onwards and upwards, if I don't get to go to the gym I will definitely do my walk, as you know I've had my Nike's and am dying to christen them, lol.

For anyone who hasn't met my baby yet.............

Just thought I would post a few picture of my little Angel......... He had been left on his own in a shed near my Sisters house and I couldn't leave him there, believe it or not I don't actually like cats always been a dog girl, but I just love him, he's the best birthday present I've ever had. My Sister asked me if I wanted a cat for my Birthday and I said no then my Nephew came home with him in his arms, how could I resist! This first picture is the first day we had him, he hadn't got a clue what was going on and was so nervous. As you can see he is now huge, and I mean huge, he's only 9 months and towers above next doors 6 year old ginger tom, lol.

His name is William, I call him my little Willy, lol


For some reason he likes the shower, lol.

Here goes.......

So there you have it I'm going to blog about my progress on my health kick and weight loss. If I do it every few days and do successfully in it all then I can look back and be proud of myself and hopefully you all will to? Some of my friends, you know who you are....lol... (Alison) don't do facebook so don't know anything about what I'm up to because I have been trying to get her to join but she won't so this is also for you Al.

I went to see the gynaecologist on January 4 and she read me the riot act, I have had problems for years and years now and they just don't seem to be getting any better. Mercy she took no mercy lol, she told me exactly what I am doing to my body by not looking after myself and my diabetes, she was just like the Maggie Thatcher of gynaecology and some people would have been offended but she did me the biggest favour of my life. Anyone who knows me knows that 2009 wasn't the easiest of years for me, mainly my own doing of course but this year is the start of the Millennium for me, I know 10 years late but better late than never, lol.

Right so here's what's been happening be prepared for a shock....

I go for a walk every other day for 30 minutes as briskly as I can, and I am proud to say I am getting a little faster each time, I have my ipod blaring rock music and I pace away up a bit of an incline to start then down a bit then up a bit of an incline again, I'm not overdoing it or else I will start to hate it and we don't want that do we?! lol

I started at the gym last week, yes that's right the gym, I've only been twice so far, it's a bit difficult with work and I won't go when it's busy there, but the guy there has worked out a programme for me and I do some time on the treadmill, a few mins on the cross trainer (that is one evil machine), then the exercise bike and a cool down on the treadmill. I only do about half an hour but I think it's enough for a start and then I will work up to a bit more as time goes on.
I'm also cutting down a lot and I haven't had any chocolate since New Years Day, oh I've had a couple of Skinny Cow hot chocolates, it feeds my craving and isn't as bad for me as bars of chocolate, lol.

So now for the progress report since January 4. Well in my first 2 weeks I lost NOTHING, ZERO, ZILCH, NADA, I was really upset about it so I have taken drastic action this last week. I have stopped eating red meat, it's chicken all the way for me or Quorn mince, I'll have red meat once a week but it's so high in saturated fat it's best not to have too much of it.

Righty hoh, there you have it, the Abi Guinto health & fitness get thin in a year regime, January 1st 2011 you'll see a new me I can promise you!!!
